The band was founded by former Savatage guitarist Jack Frost in 1999. Led by Jack, Seven Witches has been one of America's better exports of classic 80's-inspired metal for a number of years now, with six albums released to date.

Dale Toth has been a musician since around the age of 10. Since that time he has performed and recorded with various artists around the Tri-State area. At age 13 with the help of his father, a great musician in his own right, Dale started playing in his first band as a bassist/vocalist. Shortly after high school he put down the bass and concentrated on vocals with another group of friends he graduated high school with. Through his "longer than anticipated" college years, Dale never lost site of his real love and after returning home he started working with a list of musicians including Jeff Shernov, now the guitarist for the popular Bon Jovi tribute band Runaway.
